A Mandibular Advancement Splint is a two-piece dental appliance that fits over your upper and lower teeth. It gently positions the lower jaw slightly forward during sleep, which opens the airway at the back of the throat and prevents the soft tissue collapse that causes snoring and apnoea events.
The device is custom-made from digital scans of your teeth for precise fit and comfort. The degree of jaw advancement is adjustable, allowing us to calibrate the appliance for optimal airway opening with minimal jaw strain. Regular follow-up reviews ensure the fit and effectiveness are maintained.
