How do I know if I have sleep apnoea?

How does a dental splint help with snoring?
A Mandibular Advancement Splint (MAS) gently postures your lower jaw forward while you sleep. This tightens the soft tissues of the throat and keeps the airway open, significantly reducing snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnoea events.
Is a mandibular advancement splint comfortable?
Yes, modern custom-made splints are slim, adjustable, and generally comfortable. While there is a short adjustment period, most patients find them much easier to tolerate than a CPAP mask. You can drink water and speak with the appliance in place.
Do I need a referral for a sleep device?
While you can see us directly for snoring, treating diagnosed sleep apnoea effectively requires collaboration with a sleep physician. We work closely with specialists to ensure the appliance is the right medical solution for your severity of apnoea.
CPAP vs Dental Device: Which is better?
